INTRODUCING BIKEFILL, BOZEMAN’S COMMUNITY BIKE PARK

Help Build a World-Class Bike Park in our Backyard

We are thrilled to introduce Bikefill, a community-focused bike park for riders of all ages and abilities. In partnership with the City of Bozeman, GVLT is creating a community bike park on 66 acres of City property adjacent to Snowfill Recreation Area with the stunning Bridger Range as a backdrop.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks Start of Construction on Bikefill

The City of Bozeman and GVLT officially broke ground on Bikefill on June 18, 2026. The groundbreaking ceremony included remarks from GVLT Director of Development Justin Barth, City of Bozeman Deputy Mayor Douglas Fischer, former GVLT Board Member and Bikefill champion Bill Cochran, and Sacajawea Middle School student and six-year Bozeman Youth Cycling and National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) rider Emma Erickson. Following the presentation, speakers were joined by several project partners and lead donors to turn the first official shovels of dirt on the future site.

Following this milestone, project completion is slated for summer/fall 2027.

“You have a stronger community when you have a quality community gathering place. Bikefill will be a great place to gather families and to foster a 'you-can-do this-attitude' for riders of all ages. Connections forged at Bikefill will bleed out into the larger community—improving the health of our region.”
